In addition to his role with Journeys Project, Keith Myers serves as Executive Producer of the Journey of Loss, Discovery of Hope - video and DVD production series. Myers is also the co-founder of Journeys Project.

An expert in Operations and Administrative Management, Organization Assessment and Strategic Planning, Keith has provided consulting services to organizations in the film/multimedia, cemetery/mortuary, aerospace/electronics industries and in the non-profit sector.

He has participated in the “Bridge/Gap Financing” of dozens of motion pictures and has been an Associate/Assistant Producer in several films: through Profile Entertainment:  “Sol Goode” (premiered on WB Network August, 2002) starring

Baltazar Getty, Jamie Kennedy, Katharine Towne, Tori Spelling, Robert Wagner and Cheri Oteri and “In the Shadows” (Released to Cable TV and DVD/Video, 2002) starring Cuba Gooding, Jr., James Caan, Matthew Modine and Joey Lauren Adams, both films produced by Newman/Tooley Films; and, the movie "Wise Girls" (premiered on Showtime, October 2002) starring Mira Sorvino, Mariah Carey and Melora Walters produced by Leading Pictures; also, several films through Blue Rider Pictures, including:  international award winning “Silver Wolf” (Premiered on Fox Family Channel, 1999) starring Michael Biehn, Roy Scheider and Shane Meier, co-produced with GFT; “Slow Burn” (Released to Cable TV and DVD/Video, 2000/1)

starring Minnie Driver, James Spader and Josh Brolin, co-produced with Artisan Pictures; international award winning “Shergar” (European premier, 2001, U.S. Cable premier on HBO, 2002,  starring Ian Holm, Mickey Rourke, and David Warner.  Also with Blue Rider Pictures, Myers was Associate Producer of the documentary, “An Uncommon Kindness: The Father Damien Story,” narrated by Robin Williams with music by international recording artist, Keola Beamer, released in 2003.


Myers was Vice President-Operations of Christian Funeral Services, Inc. (CFS), a subsidiary of Service Corporation International (SCI), the world’s largest death care provider. He had operational and administrative responsibility for the management of cemeteries and related assets for Catholic Dioceses managed by SCI; and, he was also a member of the Revenue/Construction team evaluating SCI cemeteries and mortuaries.  For ten years prior to SCI/CFS, Myers was Executive Director and General Manager of Catholic Cemeteries for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.  He managed their eleven-cemetery operation in Southern California and had management responsibility for their Diocese of Tucson Catholic Cemeteries in Arizona. He served for four years on the Board of Directors of Rosedale Cemetery Association. As Vice President of that board, he helped to facilitate the operational turnaround and profitable sale of Rosedale.  

While at the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Myers conceived the idea and directed the implementation of an eight-week “Grief Ministry Training Program.”  Over 1000 lay and religious grief program facilitators in Catholic and other Christian congregations were trained in the essentials of directing bereavement support programs.

Myers served as Vice President and then President during his ten years on the Board of the Interment Association of California, a trade association for privately owned, religious and fraternal cemeteries, with 180 property members.  Keith also is a member of the National Catholic Cemetery Conference (NCCC).  The NCCC honored him with their Certified Catholic Cemetery Executive designation.  

Prior to joining the Archdiocese, Myers worked in Electronics/Aerospace.  He was Vice President of Administration & Human Resources for the Northrop Corporation Advanced Systems/B-2 division, was a management consultant and held division, group and operation-level management positions with Rockwell International. 

A member of the “Society for Human Resources Management,” he is an Accredited Executive in Personnel and is designated a Senior Professional in Human Resources.  Keith is a life member of Alpha Kappa Psi, a national business fraternity, and of Pi Gamma Mu, national social science honor society.  He also holds a “lifetime”, State of California Junior College Teaching Credential. 

Keith served on Catholic Charities of Los Angeles Boards for nineteen years, including the Board of Trustees for thirteen years.  He served on the Executive Committee and as Board Treasurer. He was also Chair of the Personnel and of the Finance Committees.  He is a former President and was Treasurer of their San Pedro Regional Board. 

Keith was born in St. Paul, Minnesota. He served on active duty with the U.S. Army and in the National Guard, attaining the rank of Warrant Officer, and is a life member of the Disabled American Veterans.  Myers is also a published amateur poet. Active in community and church service work and a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, Keith was honored in 2003 by their California State Council with the prestigious "Shining Armor Award" in recognition of "Outstanding Achievement in the Works of the Order."

Myers attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he earned his Bachelor of Science and MBA degrees.  He also completed graduate studies at the University of Southern California.  Keith is a member of the 1881 Society of the Marquette University President's Council. While serving on the Marquette University Alumni Association National Board, he initiated and lead the development and publication, on their website, of a comprehensive on-line "Day of Reflection Handbook" to assist alumni clubs and other organizations in planning and implementing retreat and other spiritual day programs.  He has also served as a member of the local Alumni Club Board of Directors since the 70’s, holding various positions including President.  He was honored for his more than 25 years of leadership and commitment to his University, when the President of Marquette University presented him with the first “Spirit Award for Service” granted in Southern California. Myers has also been recognized for his work in helping to establish a comprehensive 21-credit Ethics Minor at Marquette; and, for his role in helping to fund and initiate an annual lecture series at the University entitled: "Society & Human Values."
